What Is There to See and Do in Coeur d’Alene?

For anyone who is looking to get outside and enjoy some of the amazing natural beauty of this area, there are many wonderful choices. Immediately to the east of the Resort is the amazing McEuen Park with playground, dog park, walking paths, and of course our glorious Tubb’s Hill if you are looking for more of a hike - without having to drive anywhere. To the immediate west of the resort is City Park with a lovely walking trail along the lake and the ever fun Fort Playground at the far end. Higgin’s Point on Lake Coeur d’Alene is a great place to get out and stretch your legs and perhaps see some bald eagles catching fish which is what they do best. If you are looking for a longer expedition, Farragut State Park on the southern tip of Lake Pend Oreille is a must see with miles of hiking trails, beautiful scenery and a unique history as a WWII naval training station. It is a 35 minute drive from the resort.

The Resort offers Hot Cocoa Cruises out on the lake for anyone wishing more of a nautical adventure. Be sure to dress warmly, as it can get chilly out on the boat deck. If you’re lucky, you might see a bald eagle or two.

Escape Game CDA is a fun Escape Room Center right across from the resort for those who wish a more cerebral challenge.

Where to Eat?

Within walking distance of the resort, there are many dining options, including the locally famous Hudson’s Hamburgers, several Asian restaurants including Shiki Sushi Bar and Japanese Grill, snd Kaiju Sushi.

Sweet Lou’s is a favorite if you are looking for more family style American dining. Season’s Fresh Grill is also very popular. Tito’s Italian Grill in the The Plaza Shops right across from the Resort is always a good choice for local Italian food.
